IRON SHARPENS IRON: THE KING'S MEN
There is a continual need to heed Our Lord's call to conversion and holiness. The last several years have demonstrated that authentic renewal so often takes place within, what the Church terms, "ecclesial movements." In other words, within the Church, people have experienced a desire to grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord and the gift of faith. These God given desires have produced movements of dedicated men and women who, recognizing the challenges inherent in living the Gospel, have banded together to pray, to grow and to work for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
One of these movements specifically for men was founded by Mark Houck and Damian Wargo in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Both recognized their need for a group of Catholic men geared towards coming together for weekly formation and accountability to be strengthened in their roles as leader, protector and provider. The name of the movement is "The King's Men."
The Mission of The King's Men:
"Under Christ the King’s universal call to serve, we as men, pledge to unite and build up men in the mold of leader, protector, and provider through education, formation, action and healing."

Welcome brothers!
Since February of 2014, with the blessing of our pastor, Fr. Ligato, men of our parish and neighboring parishes have been coming together as brothers of The King’s Men apostolate to pray, learn more about our Catholic Faith, and sharpen one another in ways that only men can do. We are dedicated to being better husbands, fathers, workers, and brothers to one another. We desire to grow in our Catholic identity, be a witness to hope for our communities, and assist our bishop and diocese in forming men in the mold of leader, protector and provider. We have some good fun together too, with the occasional BBQ or TKM Retreat. Please be with us! Feel free to email or call one of us above with questions. We look forward to having you with us. No dues or obligation to attend every week. Just show up, we will always be here sharpening.
Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry!
